$9.5M project set to improve safety along interstates prone to wrong-way crashes in Kentucky

 

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A design build team will be working on a $9.5 million project to monitor and bolster safety on Kentucky corridors that are prone to wrong-way crashes.

Gov. Andy Beshear announced the members have been selected to collaborate with state transportation officials to create a pilot project this summer. This pilot will test new technologies along select ramps in Jefferson and Fayette counties before deploying to other locations starting this fall, according to a release.
